About.
Jaz Wood is a young designer based in Melbourne. Her practice is to create pieces with love, for clients to love. She designs textural, aesthetic objects with integrity – intentionally creating enduring relationships between the product and the consumer. The objects and furniture she creates enhance the environments they are placed in by injecting the space with unique personality and reflecting the skilled craftsmanship of local manufacturers and artisans.
Building on the skills gained in her two degrees, in the Associate Degree in Design – Furniture (RMIT – 2012) and Bachelor of Design - Industrial Design (1st Class Honours – RMIT – 2014), Jaz is now developing and exploring new ideas and design opportunities. Already, she has exhibited in Melbourne, Sydney and London.
